League Island privacy
How League Island uses public league data, device connections and taunts.

Entering a Sleeper username loads publicly available NFL leagues, team names, avatars, matchups and scores. We do not request your Sleeper password or access private messages.
Our Cloudflare service stores the username, Sleeper user and league identifiers, selected teams and leagues, and a random connection credential hash. Apple Live Activity push tokens and session details allow score updates to reach your iPhone. If you enable taunt notifications, we also store a regular notification device token. Taunts are on by default and automatically connect installations for the current weekly matchup when both players use League Island. You can turn taunts off in Settings. We store preset taunts, their send times, the player and qualifying play, the scores at send time, conversation participants, installed-team availability and mute preferences. Entering a public Sleeper username does not verify ownership of that Sleeper account. The connection credential is stored in your iPhone’s Keychain, and avatars are cached locally.
Cloudflare processes network requests and uses the request IP address to limit repeated setup attempts. Apple delivers notifications and Live Activity updates and handles TestFlight distribution and feedback. Sleeper supplies public league data. We do not include advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs, or sell personal data.
Live Activity sessions last no more than 7 hours 45 minutes. Saved profiles expire after 180 days. Installed-team availability expires after 30 days without opening the app. Legacy unaccepted invitations expire after 7 days. Conversations expire after 30 days without a new taunt; we retain up to 100 taunts from the last 30 days per conversation. Clearing an automatic conversation removes its messages for both participants while retaining short-lived send limits. Deleting your saved profile also removes its conversations and notification registration. To remove your saved profile and relay registrations, open Settings in League Island and choose “Disconnect and delete profile.” This does not delete your Sleeper account. Local cached avatars may remain until the app is removed. Service providers may retain operational records under their own policies.
